The LA Times has projected Jerry Brown to win for governor, and Barbara Boxer for senator, which is a good thing for Democrats, because it looks like the House will be going to the Republicans.

I’m a little surprised that prop 19 didn’t pass. But maybe that’s because here at UCLA there was such a movement to Vote Yes, and it made me forget that not everyone else would think the same way. Ah well. Marijuana remains only legal for medicinal use. I am glad to hear that prop 23 will probably not pass, though: hooray for the Global Warming Act!
