Tuition might be raised to another 32%

I logged onto URSA and checked the cost for next year. The total was $27,000+.

Some people are worried about Judgment Day on Saturday, and all I can think of are fee increases and another huge student protest next year. I am a student. I am involved in extracurriculars. I have to work more than 20 hours a week to at least afford rent. I rely on grants and loans to pay for tuition. Budget cuts and fee increases are probably part of Judgment Day.

There are even some considerations of charging UCs at different rates. How would the regents decide the ratings? I agree that it would seem too elitist.

I wonder how our student government will fight against these issues. They might need our support more than ever.
