Halloween costumes

I was thinking about being Katara from Avatar: the Last Airbender for Halloween this year, but figured it would be too hard to throw that outfit together. I could buy one, but they’re expensive. (I also came up with this when I Googled “Katara Halloween costumes.” Um. There is something wrong with those pictures, and it is not the fact that the costumes don’t even look like Katara’s outfit in the series.)

If you’re in the same boat as me, have no fear: 8 Asians has come up with a list of Top 8 costumes for Asian Americans. You can dress up as Tina from Glee, Tila Tequila, or even Liu Xiaobo, this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winner!
